BROOKLYN (December 5, 2013) –To get students in the holiday spirit, Brooklyn Nets Super Hero BrooklyKnight will deliver trees to PS 307, PS 282, PS 157, PS 23, PS 93, and PS 9 in Brooklyn TOMORROW, Friday, December 6.
Media are encouraged to visit PS 282 during which BrooklyKnight and studentswill decorate the holiday tree with ornaments and pose for photos with students from 11:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Upon arrival at each school, BrooklyKnightwill be greeted by the excitement of eagerly awaiting students who will escort the Super Hero to the designated location for the tree placement. BrooklyKnight and the students will install and decorate trees provided by Tyler’s Trees with custom Brooklyn Nets tree toppers.
This event is part of the Brooklyn Nets Assist program which stands to support four key pillars: Education, Athletics, Health & Wellness, and Community Development. Brooklyn Nets Assist is proudly presented by Baked In Brooklyn. Maimonides Medical Center is a supporting sponsor of Brooklyn Nets Assist.

About Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets, presented by SW24, were officially launched in April 2012 and play their home games at Barclays Center located at the crossroads of Brooklyn, Atlantic and Flatbush Avenues. A member of the Eastern Conference's Atlantic Division, the Nets advanced to the NBA Playoffs in 2013 for the first time since 2007. Prior to its relocation to Brooklyn, the team was called the New Jersey Nets.
